Data deletion
Request data deletion or disconnect integrations
This page explains how Reportly users can disconnect Google or Meta integrations and request deletion of account, workspace, client, report, OAuth, and platform data.
Effective date: 3 June 2026
1. How to request deletion
Email hello@reportly.au from the email address connected to your Reportly account and tell us what you want deleted. We may need to verify your identity and confirm the workspace, client, report, or integration involved before acting on the request.
- To delete your Reportly account or workspace, include “Delete my Reportly account” in the subject line.
- To delete a specific client or report, include the client name, report title, and any relevant share link.
- To delete connected Google or Meta data, include the provider name and connected account or property if known.
- To ask a question before deletion, email hello@reportly.au and describe what you want changed or removed.
2. Disconnect Google or Meta access
Where Reportly provides an in-product disconnect or reconnect option, you can use it to stop future syncing from a connected account. You can also revoke Reportly’s access directly in your Google or Meta account settings.
Revoking access stops Reportly from collecting new data from that provider, but it may not automatically delete historical reports, synced metrics, or backups already created in Reportly. Email hello@reportly.au if you want historical data removed too.
3. Meta data deletion instructions
If you connected Meta Ads to Reportly and want Meta platform data removed, email hello@reportly.au with “Meta data deletion request” in the subject line. Include your Reportly account email and the connected ad account name or ID if you know it.
After we verify the request, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify the relevant Meta access tokens, connected account records, synced ad insights, and report data stored in Reportly, unless we need to retain limited information for legal, security, abuse-prevention, or backup reasons.
4. Google data deletion instructions
If you connected Google Analytics to Reportly and want Google data removed, email hello@reportly.au with “Google data deletion request” in the subject line. Include your Reportly account email and the connected GA4 property or account if you know it.
After we verify the request, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify the relevant Google OAuth tokens, connected property records, synced analytics data, and report data stored in Reportly, unless limited retention is required or permitted by law.
5. What may remain temporarily
- Backups and logs may retain limited data for a short period until they expire or are overwritten.
- Security, fraud-prevention, billing, audit, support, or legal records may be retained where reasonably required.
- Information already shared with report recipients may remain available to those recipients unless the report link or underlying report is deleted.
- Data held by Google, Meta, or another third-party provider is controlled by that provider and may need to be managed through that provider’s own account settings.
6. Response timing
We aim to respond to deletion requests as soon as reasonably practical. Some requests may take longer if we need to verify identity, confirm workspace authority, identify the correct connected account, or preserve information we are legally required to keep.
7. Questions
